Brett Geymann

Founder | Louisiana State Representative | Family Man

At Patriot Development, our strength lies in the hands and hearts of the people behind the work. One of those people is Brett, the founder, cornerstone of the company, and proud part of the family.

When asked what he loves most about remodeling, his answer was simple but powerful:

“Seeing the enjoyment and smiles of the homeowner when everything is complete.”

That right there is what drives us.

You might not know this, but Brett is a Louisiana State Representative and a big dog lover and animal advocate (and a firm mayo hater). When he’s not working or talking with customers, he’s soaking up time with the grandkids or out fishing—two things that bring him just as much joy as a beautifully finished bathroom.

His remodeling tip for homeowners?

“Be patient and go into the project understanding that it will more than likely be a little inconvenient—but well worth it.”

And he would know—he’s seen first-hand how the right crew and the right plan can completely transform a space and a family’s daily life.

Jacob Fruge

Owner & Project Lead | With Patriot Since 2020

Meet Jacob, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and the driving force behind Patriot Development’s continued growth and reputation for integrity. After serving from 2007 to 2011, including time in Iraq, Jacob brought his leadership and dedication home to Southwest Louisiana.

When his father-in-law founded Patriot in 2014, it was the start of a family legacy built on trust and craftsmanship. Jacob stepped in to lead the company in 2020—right as Hurricanes Laura and Delta devastated the region. His mission was simple: rebuild with excellence and care.

“I love taking something worn down and turning it into a space that feels brand new. Every remodel is an opportunity to earn a homeowner’s trust and serve our community.”

Outside of work, Jacob enjoys time with his family and giving back to the community that shaped him. His belief that how you build matters just as much as what you build is at the heart of every Patriot project.

Joe Myers

Tile and Finish Expert | With Patriot Since 2020

Meet Joe, a key part of what makes our remodels not only beautiful but built right.

Since 2020, he’s been transforming worn-down bathrooms into spaces clients are proud of. His specialty? Tile work. He’s known for making sure every line is clean, every edge is sharp, and every detail is symmetrical.

“There’s nothing better than seeing a homeowner’s reaction when they walk into their finished bathroom for the first time—it makes all the hard work worth it.”

When he’s not perfecting the finish on a remodel, you’ll find him serving at church, spending time with his family, or traveling on mission trips. His faith and purpose show up in his work—and in how he treats every homeowner with care and respect.

What sets Patriot apart, according to Joe:

His tip for homeowners starting the remodel journey:
